Nice blog Norm!
Hi, Norman. I’m a fifty-something guy who works in financial services. Your picture looks familiar from the WordCamp event on Saturday. Did you enjoy it? I thought it was pretty cool. If you get a chance, check out my slightly skewered take on it at my blog, davisw.wordpress.com.
Hi Norman,
I watched your video on installing memory on iMac and you used 2 Kingston Value Ram DDR PC2-5300 (2GB) Notebook Ram.
When I searched for this item on the Kingston website it wasn’t there. Customer service recommended the item I posted below. What are your thoughts on this particular memory card?
BTW, here is the information from my Mac:
Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac5,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.16 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Boot ROM Version: IM51.0090.B09
SMC Version: 1.9f4
Kingston Customer Service Suggestion:
Search Results for: KTA-MB667K2/2G
Description: 2GB Kit
Mfgr’s System P/N’s: MA369G/A (Apple); MA751G/A (Apple)
Form Factor: Memory Module
Pieces/Unit: 2 (Two 1GB modules, totaling 2GB)

If you called Kingston Customer service I would feel pretty confident. I have been buying ram from them for a long time and with a 100% success rate with different brands PC and Mac’s. I hope this answer your question or second opinion. Thank you for taking the time watch the lifetech101.tv videos. Happy Holidays!
Hi norman, Have just watched your green screen video tutorial (excellent content)
I am trying to put a video on my web site similar to this (copy and paste to IE)
http://motiliti.net/oys_carrie.htm?s=http://www.instant-cash-center.com
I have got my head around the chromakey part but I am stuck at how to overlay the video with a clear background and onto the website as shown in the above demo.
Any tips or tricks would be most welcome.
Regards John
