Since moving to Charlotte two and half years ago from California I missed the tech shows, conferences, and gatherings from the west coast. This last year discovering twitter and a gas hunt video i put up, Local twitters decided to follow me so doing what new twitters do is follow them. Whole new world of Charlotte was starting to open up. Social Media lunches, gatherings and more. The first Charlotte WordPress event this last year called Charlotte Wordcamp that brought writers, blogger and many others together to learn and network. Starting this year the meeting of the minds at the first Barcamp Charlotte that was a big success. Corey Creed of Hippo Internet Marketing Consulting and Training mentioned this last year there has been more events geared for the social media and techie communities. If your techie or blogger and want to make these groundbreaking events in Charlotte, the fastest way is to join twitter, Find a local blog site such as CLTblog.com, StormanCast.TV or 30Threads.com hopefully we see you at the next event.
